When you do online gaming or are simply using an online program do you keep getting kicked out of the game or experience lag? If you do, then you need to make a port forward for that game or application. Your Huawei Tattoo HG630 router has a firewall that helps protect your home network from unwanted Internet threats. Step 2
In this step, we show you how to login to the Huawei Tattoo HG630 router. Did you know your router uses a web interface program to manage it's settings. This means you need to login to the management pages using a web browser. It should not matter what browser you decide to use. I recommend picking the one you are the most comfortable using. The common web browsers are Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

Step 3
In this step we will show you how to login to the Huawei Tattoo HG630 router. We begin on the Home page of the router:
On this Home page, look in the left sidebar and click the option of Advanced.
Then choose the sub link of NAT.
You should now be on the page you see above. At this point click the tab at the top of the page labeled Port Mapping.

Enable the Customization radio button.
Choose an available connection from the Interface dropdown box.
From the Protocol box select the protocol for the ports that you want to forward.
You can leave the Remote Host box blank.
If you are just forwarding a single port number then you can simply enter that same number into both the External Start Port and the External End Port boxes. If you are forwarding a range of ports, usually separated by a hyphen, then you need to enter the lowest number of that range into the External Start Port box and then enter highest number into the External End Port box.
Enter the IP address of the device that you want to forward ports to into the Internal Host box. This can be either the IP address of your computer or the IP address of another device on your network.
In the Internal Port box enter the port to forward.
Put a name for this forward in the Mapping Name box so that you can remember why you set this forward up. The name does not matter so pick something that has meaning to you.
When you are all done click the Submit button.
After each port forward, make sure to click the Submit button at the bottom to save that entry.
Congratulations. Your ports should be forwarded now.
How to Test Your Ports
When you are done, it is always a good idea to check and see if the ports forwarded correctly.

For update packages that can be found on the official website, you can use either of the following methods to perform an update.
Prerequisites:
(1) A microSD card with a capacity of larger than 4 GB is available, and the size of the available space is larger than the size of the update package.
(2) Your phone has a remaining battery power of higher than 30% throughout the update.
Method 1: Perform a local update using the microSD card (applicable to EMUI 3.1 or earlier)
Procedure:
(1) On your computer, visit Easy Firmware, Press Model, and download the software package.
(2) Decompress the software package. Create a folder named dload in the microSD card root directory. Move the completely downloaded software package named UPDATE.APP to the dloadfolder.

(3) Return to the home screen and touch Settings > Updater. Choose Menu > Local update, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update.
Method 2: Perform a forcible update using the microSD card.
Note: This update method will erase all user data on your phone. Please back up your important data before the update.
Procedure:
(1) On your computer, visit Easy Firmware, Press Model, and download the software package.
(2) Decompress the software package. Create a folder named dload in the microSD card root directory. Move the completely downloaded software package named UPDATE.APP to the dload folder.
(3) Disconnect your phone from your computer or other devices (such as a charger) and power off your phone.
(4) When your phone is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the volume up, volume down, and power buttons.
(5) When the startup animation is displayed, release the power button and keep pressing and holding the volume up and volume down buttons until the update screen is displayed. Do not perform any operations during the update, which may take a while. Please wait for the update to finish.
(6) After the update is complete, an OK message is displayed.
